Cisco 8000-TIC-GNSS

The Cisco 8000-TIC-GNSS (part number 8000-TIC-GNSS) is the enhanced version of the 8000-TIC timing module: in addition to SyncE and PTP, it integrates a GNSS receiver enabling direct synchronisation from satellite signals (GPS/GLONASS). It supports the PTP Class C profile, the most demanding standard for 5G NR radio applications.

This card targets 5G SA operators deploying gNodeB base stations that require phase accuracy below 1.5 µs without relying on an external PTP network.
