What Is PoE? Power over Ethernet Explained
PoE (Power over Ethernet, 802.3af/at/bt) powers devices such as IP phones, WiFi APs, and cameras through the Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. It is essential for simplifying modern cabling. There are 4 generations: af, at, bt Type 3, and bt Type 4.
