What Is an SFP Module? Definition and Types
An SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) module is an interchangeable optical or copper transceiver inserted into a switch or router slot. It provides fiber or copper connectivity at various speeds (1G, 10G, 25G, 100G, 400G). It is an essential component of modern data center and campus networks.
