The SFP-GPON-B is the commercial version (0 to 70 °C) of the Cisco Class B+ GPON SFP module, delivering 1.244 Gbps upstream and 2.488 Gbps downstream over single-strand single-mode fiber, up to 20 km. Compliant with ITU-T G.984.2 Class B+, it differs from the SFP-GPON-B-I through its standard thermal profile, designed for indoor installations and temperature-controlled technical rooms.
Suitable for FTTH deployments in controlled environments such as data centers and indoor DSLAMs, this module installs in Cisco OLTs to power passive access networks.
