SFP-GE-L

The SFP-GE-L is a Cisco 1 Gbps SFP module, compliant with the IEEE 1000BASE-LX/LH standard, over single-mode fibre (SMF) with an LC (UPC) connector and a reach of 10 km over duplex cable. Its extended thermal range of -5 to 85°C differentiates it from the MGBLX1 (0-70°C), offering greater resistance to temperature variations for deployments in semi-outdoor conditions or unregulated enclosures.

Suited to inter-building or inter-site connections at short to medium distances over single-mode fibre, the Cisco SFP-GE-L is selected when the thermal constraints of the environment exceed the limits of standard commercial modules.
