The SFP-10G-ZR-S is a Cisco SFP+ 10 Gbps transceiver designed for long-distance single-mode fiber links, with a certified reach of 80 kilometers. Compliant with the IEEE 10GBASE-ZR standard, it connects via an LC (UPC) port on a duplex fiber cable and operates across a range of 0 to 70°C. This -S suffix model carries Cisco certification for Catalyst and Nexus equipment with DOM support enabled by default.
The SFP-10G-ZR-S meets the requirements of carriers and enterprise customers needing to establish 10 GbE links between sites tens of kilometers apart — datacenter interconnects, long-range campus links, or metropolitan backhaul.
