The SFP-10G-LRM is a Cisco SFP+ 10 Gbps transceiver designed specifically for multimode fiber, with a maximum reach of 220 meters via an LC (UPC) connector on a duplex cable. Compliant with the IEEE 10GBASE-LRM standard, this module is distinguished from SR solutions by its ability to operate over existing FDDI-grade multimode fiber — a significant advantage when reusing legacy cabled infrastructure. Operating temperature range: 0 to 70°C.
Ideal for upgrading multimode fiber cabling without laying new infrastructure, the SFP-10G-LRM targets organizations carrying out 10 GbE migrations in older buildings equipped with 62.5 µm MMF fiber. It achieves 220 m where a conventional 10GBASE-SR module would be limited to a few tens of meters on this fiber category. Genuine Cisco hardware, manufacturer warranty.
