The Cisco QSFP-200G-SR4-S is a QSFP56 200 Gbps transceiver compliant with the IEEE 200GBASE-SR4 standard, offering a reach of 100 m over multimode fiber with an MPO-12 (UPC) connector in parallel cabling. Unlike the QSFP-200G-SL4 limited to 30 m, this model extends coverage to 100 m, addressing the vast majority of intra-datacenter deployments on OM4 MMF. It uses 4 parallel lanes to achieve a total throughput of 200 Gbps.
