The Cisco QSFP-100G-SR4-S is a QSFP28 100 Gbps transceiver optimized for multimode fiber (MMF) over an MPO-12 (UPC) parallel cable, with a maximum reach of 100 m. Compliant with the IEEE 100GBASE-SR4 standard, it distributes 25 Gbps across each of the 4 fibers in parallel transmission, clearly differentiating it from WDM duplex-fiber solutions.
Perfectly suited to short intra-rack or inter-rack links in high-density data centers using OM3/OM4 fiber, the QSFP-100G-SR4-S meets the requirements of high-performance computing (HPC) and distributed storage environments.
