The QSFP-100G-B20U4-I provides the upstream path of a 100 Gbps BiDi link over simplex single-mode fiber at 20 km, as the complement to the QSFP-100G-B20D4-I. This Cisco QSFP28 module uses a dedicated upstream wavelength via an LC (UPC) connector on a single fiber strand, with a thermal tolerance of -20 to +85 °C. This symmetric design ensures consistent latency and throughput in both directions.
It integrates into data center and campus infrastructure environments requiring fiber-efficient 100 Gbps connectivity over medium distances. Deployed alongside the B20D4-I, it delivers a turnkey BiDi solution over 20 km. Genuine Cisco hardware, manufacturer warranty.
