The QDD-2X100 is a Cisco breakout cable or module in QSFP-DD form factor, splitting a single QSFP-DD port into two independent 100 Gigabit links. This 2x100G configuration offers an intermediate cabling flexibility between a monolithic 400G QSFP-DD port and 4x100G breakout solutions, addressing the needs of asymmetric or transitional architectures.
The Cisco QDD-2X100 is suited to deployments where two remote 100G devices need to be connected from a single high-capacity port, such as links between a 400G spine switch and two 100G leaf switches.
