The ONS-SC+-10G-SR is a Cisco SFP+ module optimized for very short distances in data centers: it operates at 10 Gbps over multimode fiber (MMF) with a reach of only 100 m, via an LC (UPC) connector. This short-reach module is the most cost-effective option in the ONS 10G range for intra-rack connections or between closely located equipment on existing MMF cabling.
Recommended for internal datacenter interconnects between distribution switches and servers, or between equipment located in the same technical room, the ONS-SC+-10G-SR makes full use of already-deployed MMF infrastructure. Genuine Cisco hardware, manufacturer warranty.
