The ONS-QSFP-4X10-MLR is a Cisco QSFP+ 40 Gbps (4 x 10G) transceiver over single-mode fiber via an MPO-12 (APC) connector, with a reach of 10 km. Its MPO-12 connectivity and parallel-fiber cabling allow it to carry four simultaneous 10 Gbps streams over a single connector, within a temperature range of 0 to +70 °C.
It is suited to aggregation and transport networks that need to multiplex four distinct 10G links over a single MPO cable pair across short to medium distances.
