The MGBLX1 is a Cisco 1 Gbps single-mode fibre (SMF) SFP module, compliant with the IEEE 1000BASE-LX/LH standard, with an LC (UPC) connector and a reach of 10 km over duplex cable. Its temperature range of 0 to 70°C ensures reliable operation in standard technical premises. It differs from the MGBSX1 through its SMF support and tenfold greater reach.
Suited to inter-site links in urban environments or between buildings on an extended campus, the Cisco MGBLX1 enables the establishment of long-distance Gigabit connections over an existing single-mode fibre infrastructure, whether operator-owned or enterprise-grade.
