The MGBBX1 is a Cisco 1 Gbps single-mode fibre (SMF) SFP module, with an LC (PC or UPC) connector and a reach of 10 km over duplex cable. Its dual LC interface facilitates integration into conventional fibre infrastructures, and its BiDi (bidirectional) design allows it to use a single fibre strand for both transmission and reception, reducing the amount of cabling required.
