The MA-CBL-100G-50CM is a Cisco Meraki QSFP28 DAC (Direct Attach Copper) cable designed for 100 Gbps links over very short distances, with a fixed length of 0.5 m. As a pre-terminated cable, it eliminates transceiver latency and consumes less power than an optical solution, making it the preferred choice for intra-rack connections. It operates across a thermal range of 0 to 70 °C and is compatible with QSFP28 ports on Cisco Meraki equipment.
This 50 cm DAC cable is particularly well suited to environments where devices are mounted side by side in the same rack, such as direct links between Top-of-Rack switches and 100G servers.
