This passive pre-terminated cable delivers lossless transmission over this distance, suited to connections between adjacent racks or between equipment separated by a few meters within the same technical room. The operating temperature range is 0 to 70 °C.
At 3 m in length, this 100G DAC cable is a perfect fit for short-range inter-rack links in a datacenter, notably for connecting aggregation switches to servers or other active equipment without the need for optical transceivers.
