The GLC-SX-MM is a Cisco 1 Gbps multimode fibre (MMF) SFP module, compliant with the IEEE 1000BASE-SX standard, with an LC (UPC) connector and a reach of 1000 metres over duplex cable. Operating between 0 and 70°C in a temperate environment, it differs from the SFP-GE-S through its standard thermal range and GLC designation, while delivering the same performance on MMF up to 1 km.
