The Cisco GLC-2BX-D is a 1 Gbps BiDi SFP transceiver for single-mode fiber (SMF) with an LC UPC connector, certified to the IEEE 1000BASE-BX standard. It delivers a downstream reach of 10 km over a single optical fiber strand, operating within the commercial temperature range of 0 to 70 °C, which differentiates it from its industrial counterpart (-40/85 °C) designed for more extreme environments.
Ideal for GigaEthernet deployments on campus, in data centers, or for inter-building interconnections in climate-controlled facilities, this module conserves available fiber resources through BiDi technology. Genuine Cisco hardware, manufacturer warranty.
