The DS-SFP-FC64G-LW is a Cisco SFP+ transceiver dedicated to Fibre Channel storage networks, supporting the 64G (57.8 Gbps), 32G (28.05 Gbps) and 16G (14.025 Gbps) generations. On single-mode fibre (SMF) with an LC connector, its longwave (LW) reach of 10 km distinguishes it from shortwave variants limited to a few hundred metres on MMF. Compliant with FC-PI-5/6/7 standards, it operates from 0 to 70°C.
