The DS-SFP-FC4G-SW is a Cisco SFP+ 4 Gbps Fibre Channel transceiver in shortwave (SW) mode, operating over multimode fibre (MMF) with a reach of 380 meters. This module differs from the 4G LW references (SMF, long distance) through its optimisation for intra-site MMF at distances that can exceed 100m, up to 380m. LC (PC or UPC) connector, operating from 0 to 70°C.

Suited to 4G Fibre Channel storage environments still active in datacenters using MMF cabling, this module connects FC switches, servers and storage arrays over distances up to 380 meters on existing fibre.
