The SP-CABLE-FS-QSFP+1 is the shortest Fortinet QSFP+ passive DAC cable in the SP lineup, at one meter, for intra-rack 40 Gbps connections. This twinax copper cable with integrated QSFP+ connectors is optimized for very short links between two rack-mounted devices installed one above the other, where an optical solution would be oversized and more costly.
The SP-CABLE-FS-QSFP+1 is aimed at network administrators who need to connect a server to a FortiSwitch in the same rack with minimal cabling and no optical latency.
