The SP-CABLE-ADASFP+ is a Fortinet SFP+ active direct attach cable (AOC) designed to bridge distances beyond the reach of passive DAC cables. Thanks to its AOC technology over optical fiber, it delivers 10 Gbps over 10 m (32.8 ft), where a passive copper cable is limited to a maximum of 5 m.
This AOC cable meets the interconnection needs between distant racks within the same data center: top-of-rack to aggregation links, or between Fortinet equipment separated by several racks. It provides electromagnetic interference immunity that copper cables cannot guarantee. Operating temperature range: 0-70 °C. Genuine Fortinet hardware, manufacturer warranty.
