The PAN-QSFP-40GBASE-SR-BD is a Palo Alto Networks QSFP+ transceiver running at 40 Gbps using BiDi (bidirectional) technology, transmitting over a single LC duplex multimode fiber strand up to 150 meters. BiDi technology uses two distinct wavelengths on the same fiber, halving the number of fiber strands required compared to an SR4 solution on MPO. The operating range is 0 to 70 degrees C.
