MGBIC-BX120-D — Module SFP 1 Gbps Extreme Networks — 1000BX Bidirectional 120 km SFP Module

The Extreme Networks MGBIC-BX120-D is a bidirectional (BiDi) 1 Gbps SFP transceiver over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a simplex LC connector and a reach of 120 km. The D designation (Downstream) defines its receive direction within the BiDi pair: it is always deployed in tandem with the MGBIC-BX120-U at the opposite end of the link, both modules sharing the same fiber via two distinct wavelengths.

This transceiver targets operators and network integrators building ultra-long-distance Gigabit links (up to 120 km) over single-strand single-mode infrastructure.
