The Juniper PTX10004 is a 7U modular core router offering 28.8 Tbps of switching capacity. It accommodates up to 4 line cards and relies on Triton silicon for packet processing, running Junos OS. Its modular design allows different port densities to be mixed according to network evolution requirements.
Built for 400G WAN core and data centre interconnect, the PTX10004 targets telecom operators and hyperscalers requiring a scalable, high-capacity platform. The 4 line card slots allow port density to be adjusted as traffic grows. Genuine Juniper Networks hardware, manufacturer warranty.
