The JL287A is an HPE Aruba 40 Gbps QSFP+ transceiver for single-mode fiber, compliant with the 40GBASE-LR4 standard. Through WDM multiplexing across four wavelengths and an LC duplex connector, it delivers a 10-kilometer reach — ideal for long-distance links between network equipment.
Unlike BiDi SR modules (150 m over MMF), the JL287A covers interconnects between remote data centers or between nodes in a metropolitan network.
