The FG-TRAN-QSFP-4XSFP is a 1 m Fortinet multimode fiber optical breakout cable, splitting one QSFP+/QSFP28 port (40G/100G) into four SFP+/SFP28 streams (10G/25G) via an MPO connector to four LC ports. At 1 m, it is the most compact option in the FG-TRAN-QSFP-4XSFP family, reserved for interconnects within the same rack or between two closely adjacent units. Its thermal range of 0 to 70 °C suits standard datacenter racks.
This 1 m fiber breakout cable is recommended for ultra-compact Fortinet deployments where the QSFP switch and target SFP+ devices share the same rack, keeping cable runs to a minimum.
