The 10329 from Extreme Networks is a QSFP+ transceiver operating at 40 Gbps over multimode fiber (MMF) in bidirectional (BiDi) mode. Thanks to its duplex LC connector, it allows existing MMF cabling to be reused in duplex band, with a reach ranging from 100 to 300 meters depending on fiber quality. This BiDi characteristic sets it apart from standard SR4 modules that require MPO cabling.
