The Extreme Networks 100G-SWDM4-QSFP100M is a QSFP28 100 Gbps SWDM4 transceiver for multimode fibre, offering a reach of 100 to 150 m over an LC duplex connector. SWDM4 (Shortwave Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology multiplexes four channels over a single pair of OM3/OM4 MMF strands, significantly simplifying cabling compared to 8- or 12-fibre MPO solutions.
