Since acquiring Mist Systems in 2019, Juniper has integrated AI (Marvis) to provide:
- Automatic detection of WiFi and wired network failures
- Radio congestion prediction
- Self-healing configuration (Marvis Actions)
- Automated root-cause analysis
- Mist Wired Assurance license: €180 excluding VAT/switch/year
Comparison
- Cisco Catalyst 9200: equivalent and more expensive (+15%), but with a broader Cisco ecosystem
- Aruba CX 6200: similar, with comparable pricing; Aruba Central is more mature than Mist for NAC
- Fortinet FortiSwitch-148F: less expensive when a FortiGate is already deployed, but less advanced in automation
